For several CHS athletes, today was a proud and important day. This morning,12  Coppell Athletes signed with colleges to play sports at the collegiate level. At 7:45 a.m. in the Large gym, these athletes signed with colleges, sealing the deal on their college plans.

The twelve students that signed to play collegiate sports were Leighton Light, Cole Odette, Colby Mahon, Josh Self, Cameron Smith, Luis Carreno,  Will Udeh, Tanner Masters, Brantley Young, Katie Frank, Kayla Peterson, and Paige Jacobs.

Of this group, 8 are football players, 3 are soccer players, and Young runs cross country. All of the signed athletes are seniors. Notable signings were Cameron Smith to Arizona State and Josh Self to the Air Force Academy. Peterson signed at The University of Arkansas, Frank to Southwestern University in Kansas , and Jacobs to OU.
