Oscar nominations were announced last week, and the winners will be announced on Feb. 24 on ABC. The films nominated for best picture are Amour, Argo, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Django Unchained, Les Misérables, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, Zero Dark Thirty. Daniel Day Lewis (Lincoln) is my pick to win best actor, and Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables) will undoubtedly win for best supporting actress. Quentin Tarantino (Django Unchained) and Ben Affleck (Argo) were snubbed for Best Director, along with Leonardo DiCaprio (Django Unchained) for best supporting actor.
