For adults looking for an enjoyable way to stay warm in the cold winter months, the Coppell Public Library has a perfect event. On Jan. 26, tea will be served at the library in addition to a guest speaker and an opportunity to check out a new book.
Tea Time will be a unique opportunity as Dallas resident and speaker Rose-Mary Rumbley will speak. Rumbley speaks nearly 600 times a year across the Dallas areas on varying topics such as Jane Austen, Christopher Columbus and anything related to Dallas. She has also written numerous books including The Unauthorized History of Dallas and Strolling Through the Park: The History of the Dallas Park Board. Past speakers and performers at Tea Time include the Honey Queen of the Collin County Hobby Beekeepers Association and a Dallas violinist.
To attend Tea Time, registration is required. Those wishing to attend can call, email or visit the information desk at the library.
