Looking out at the sea of students at CHS during passing period, neon orange “Frisbee Fanatics” shirts stand out among the crowd signifying a game for the Coppell Ultimate Frisbee team.
Although the season officially starts in the spring, the team has scheduled a couple practice scrimmages against other high school teams in the area. Tonight they will play a friendly scrimmage against Flower Mound High School.
“Having these scrimmages is good way to prepare for the upcoming season,” senior captain Alex Garcia said. “It also gives our rookies this year a chance to scope out the competition and get a feel for what a real game is like.”
