Theaters pack weekend with hit movies

By Kristen Shepard
Staff Writer
If Coppell Volleyball and Football playoffs will not keep you busy enough this weekend, several stellar movies are scheduled to release this weekend.
First off, for the Twilight Saga fanatics, the final movie of the series, Breaking Dawn part two is opening Friday. After the widely popular Breaking Dawn part one, the series is sure to end with a bang.
Also in theaters this weekend is Spielburg’s latest movie, Lincoln starring Daniel Day-Lewis. This revealing drama takes viewers back to the 19th century, acting out the details of President Abraham Lincolns last few months in office. EMAC students were given the special privilege to screen this movie in advance. Critics are raving about Lincoln already, as the movie has received a 91% success rate on Rotten Tomatoes.
Another great film opening this weekend is Anna Karenina with Keira Knightley and Jude Law. This book is based of Leo Tolstoy’s novel Anna Karenina and is a romantic and bold drama.
Be sure to check out one of the superb films opening this weekend in theaters.
