Coppell ISD is one of 170 high schools in the state that has been recognized by the Texas ACT Council for college readiness. Based on the the fact that CISD students’ scores are consistently higher than national and state averages, CISD is in the top 9 percent of high schools in the state.
Over the past five years, the number of students taking the test has steadily increased. Composite ACT scores for CISD have increased nine percent since 2006, exceeding state and national averages. Sixty-seven percent of the Class of 2012 took the ACT.
