I hate the New York Yankees. I hate them with a burning passion in my heart and soul. Obviously the Yankees won their 27^th World Series title on Wednesday night. But could the Yankees moment of fame be their overall defeat?

I’m not much of a baseball guy. I cringe when I have to watch highlights on “SportsCenter” of baseball teams doing the same thing every game. But when it comes to the World Series, count me in.

I will watch almost any kind of championship game or series. Of course my favorite is the Super Bowl but I will watch the Stanley Cup, World Series, and even the NBA Finals.

The New York Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 7-3 last night in game 6 to secure their 27^th World Series title.

The reason I believe that the Yankees are eventually going to overrun themselves is because they are under too much pressure from fans. It’s a championship or bust.

It’s a really bad position to be in when you are as good as the Yankees are. With winning their 27^th championship, fans expect more out of the Yankees than ever before. And in the end, that will be their defeat.
