Each football season, one group of boys stands out on the field as in a truly fantastic way. This group brings spirit, pride and enthusiasm to the stadium – and it’s not even the football team. The Coppell High School Silver Spurs loyally attend all season games and bring entertainment and spirit by the hat-full.

All sophomores and juniors have the opportunity to be a part of this rowdy group, as tryouts for the 2012 football season will occur on Wednesday May 16. Any boys that will be able to attend all football games and are spirited and outgoing are encouraged to stop by Mr. Bagley’s office by May 14 to pick up several required forms. Take note: these forms are due Monday May 14 and will not be accepted late.

This year’s Silver Spurs were standouts at pep rallies and on the sidelines at football games. From relay races to an Epic Mealtime re-enactment, the Silver Spurs were creative and outgoing additions to many school events. Be sure to pick up an application if you’re interested, the Spurs are sure to have another exciting year!
