By Mary Whitfill

While most people only think of holiday playlists being for times such as Christmas and maybe some cheesy Valentines Day music, there are some great spooky songs sure to rock your haunted house this season. I made my playlist this weekend and these are the songs I included – but dont hesitate to add to the ever-growing list!

  1. Spooky – God Module
  2. Werewolf – Southern Culture on the Skids
  3. The Munsters Theme – Los Straitjackets
  4. Spooky – Atlanta Rhythm Section
  5. Grim Grinning Ghosts – Barenaked Ladies
  6. Children of the Grave – Black Sabbath
  7. Joan Crawford – Blue Oyster Cult
  8. Don’t Fear the Reaper – Blue Oyster Cult
  9. The Monster Mash – Bobby Pickett
  10. Black Magic Woman – Santana
  11. People are Strange – The Doors
  12. Fear of the Dark – Iron Maiden
  13. The Witch Queen of New Orleans – Leon Redbone
  14. Enter Sandman – Metallica
  15. Thriller – Michael Jackson
  16. Somebody’s Watching Me – Michael Jackson
  17. Everyday is Halloween – Ministry
  18. Halloween – Misfits
  19. Dead Man’s Party – Oingo Boingo
  20. Physcho Killer – Talking Heads
  21. Werewolves of London – Warren Zevon
  22. Bark at the Moon – Ozzy Osbourne
  23. We Only Come Out at Night – The Smashing Pumpkins
  24. Freaks Come Out at Night – Whodini
  25. Angel – Massive Attack

  27. Theme From Rosemary’s Baby

All of these songs either speak of scary and creepy things, or just have a spooky instrumental, but either way they are sure to add a little festivity to your music choice this week. Enjoy!
