Tonight under the lights in Lewisville two distrcit 6-5A teams sitting in the middle of the pack at 1-1 in district play will fight for an inside track to the playoffs. With three weeks left in the regular season the winner of tonights game greatly increases their chances at making the playoffs, while the loser will be stuck hanging onto a fourth seed.

Marcus (4-2) and Coppell (6-1) both have put up impressive numbers to this point with their only losses coming to Southlake (both teams) and Katy (Marcus).

Tonights game win feature a battle between Coppell’s defensive line who has struggled over the past two weeks to stop the run versus Stephen Hopkins who has averaged over 100 rushing yards a game to this point. On the other side of the ball Coppell will try to pick apart a Marcus secondary that has givin up over 200 passing yards in three of their six games to this point.
