Tonight, the Varsity lacrosse team will play its second game of the season and the Junior Varsity team will kick off their season, both against against Alamo Heights.
The JV team is coached by Greg Grimes and Barrit Peterson. Both coaches are new to the team this year. JV goalie Breuer Bass is also new and will be standing in goal this year instead of last year’s goalie Ethan Foss. This game is sure to be a test for the new goalie.
JV hopes to start off the season strong with tough first test against the Alamo Heights Mules from San Antonio. Alamo Heights is the first Division I game for not only JV, but for Varsity as well. The varsity team is looking to follow up on three straight State titles.
Go out and watch both Coppell Lacrosse teams at Coppell Middle School West. The JV game will start at six o’clock and the varsity game will start at 7:30 directly after the JV game.
