It is rather nice to participate in the new program that intruded this year, International Baccalaureate, and I urge all underclassmen to partake in this advantageous program.
There are too many benefits. 6.0 classes. College credit. IB Diploma. Outstanding staff. Intimately developed relationships by graduation time.
The high GPA start puts the course head-to-head in competition with the AP Program. Both can count as college credit and provide excellent knowledge by the end of senior year. However, numerous colleges have yet to be exposed to the IB Program.
The teachers also prove great, very enthusiastic about a very new track; I think they are indeed prepared to teach the course, but the real trial will come with IB exams.
I acknowledge these items as factors that influenced me to do IB, but I didn’t realize the relationships I would form with students and teachers alike until I participated. I just have a glance at the moment, yet I am positive we will be as close as family by the end of senior year, June 2011.
