Theatre Coppell is rolling out their second production of the season, Wait Until Dark by Frederick Knott.
Like Jekyll and Hyde before it, Wait Until Dark is a darker play. In it, a blind housewife named Susy becomes the victim of a dangerous conman trying to get a doll full of illegal drugs that her husband Sam (innocently) sent to her. Though he tries to trick her into thinking he is a friend, Susy soon figures out that not all is what it seems, and in order to level the playing field she waits until night falls and turns off the lights to leave her captor to find his way without sight.
Performances are set for October 7 – 23 at 8:00 p.m. (2:30 on Sundays). Tickets are now on sale.
