Who said IB had to be all about school?
Tonight, students of the IB program have been invited to come together at the movie theater and watch “The Invention of Lying”, which tells the story of an alternate universe where no one lies until one character figures out how. The event holds two purposes: connecting the movie back to the lessons taught in the Theory of Knowledge class while also strengthening the bond between the program’s students.
This isn’t the first bonding activity the program has organized: at the end of last year, the students enrolled in IB were invited to a day of bowling and laser tag at Main Event, and, once school started, the students got the opprotunity to play soccer together every week.
This is one of the aspects of the program that really makes it stand out from the rest. Because of its small numbers, it’s easy to organize these outings, as well as connect the students. I, for one, cannot wait to see what IB comes up with next.
