The 2011 Academic Recognition Banquet, “Oh, The Places You’ll Go!” was held earlier tonight at the Marriott Hotel DFW Airport. It featured a total of 31 students from Coppell High School and 6 from New Tech High@Coppell in addition to the 37 teachers that these students selected.
In addition, the Campus “Teachers of the Year” were also recognized. They include Liz Malone, Marly Natherson, Martha Brown, Cindy Bladl, Nadya Gulam, Jan Ridley, Stacey Harris, Crystal Wheatley, Rhonda Pickrell, Chris Gollner, Sharon Pyburn, Sandy Stubblefield, Irma Kennedy and Kim Wootton. Gulam went on to win the primary District “Teacher of the Year,” and Kennedy won the secondary District “Teacher of the Year.”
