The Coppell Cowgirls lost to the Hebron Hawks in five games Tuesday night at Hebron 25-19, 22-25, 25-21, 19-25, and 9-15. The Cowgirls had previously beaten Southlake Carroll the Friday before for their first district win.
Against Hebron, the Hawks came out with a lot of fire power and motivation. The Cowgirls tried desperately to match the intensity but were unable to sustain many steady runs.
The Hawks are now now tied atop the district with Marcus with a 2-0 record. The Cowgirls play Marcus Friday at home and need a win to keep pace with the 6-5A leaders.
