Capturing Coppell is a Sidekick series detailing events involving Coppell High School and Coppell ISD happening this week. It will be posted every Monday for the rest of the 2022-23 school year.

  • Today, National Honor Society applications from Coppell High School juniors and seniors are due. 
  • On Wednesday, Coppell Band hosts a community send-off at 7 p.m. at Buddy Echols Field. All CHS bands are performing their respective shows and admission is free.
  • Coppell Band departs Friday to compete at the Bands of America San Antonio Super Regional Championship on Saturday at Alamodome.
  • On Friday, the Coppell baseball team hosts its tailgate in the CHS parking lot from 5 – 6:30 p.m., prior to the final home football game against Plano. Dinner is $10 and includes a hamburger, chips, drink and a dessert.
  • Coppell Choir performs its Respira Dessert Show at CHS Auditorium, Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here.
