Video: New Tech High @ Coppell’s Fall Festival showcases students’ scientific success
November 5, 2021
At New Tech High @ Coppell, each grade level celebrates its accomplishments in academics through legacy projects featuring community-centered showcases.
For Punkin’ Chunkin’, the NTH@C junior physics students construct trebuchets to launch pumpkins to delve deeper and experience first hand the concepts of projectile motion and dynamics.
Watch Sidekick staff photographer Shrayes Gunna’s video on the fall event on Oct. 28 that featured games, the annual haunted house, food and the Punkin’ Chunkin’ event for family friendly fun.
With the help of New Tech High @ Coppell physics coordinator Ken Suura, the school’s networking organizations and physics students, the festival brought the Coppell community together to celebrate fall and the creations of the students.

Fantastic story! Thank you for the great pics and video… and for giving those teachers some fame. Also thank you for being one of the nicest reporter/ photographers I’ve met!
