Red and Black on Deck is a Sidekick series detailing the next seven days of Coppell varsity sports. It will be posted every Monday for the rest of the 2021-22 school year.
On Tuesday, tennis hosts Plano at the Coppell High School Tennis Complex at 4 p.m.
On Tuesday, volleyball travels to Frisco Lebanon Trail at 4 p.m. and plays at the Arlington Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, football plays Sachse in the season opener at Homer B. Johnson Stadium in Garland with kickoff at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, cross country will compete in the Southlake Carroll Invitational at Bob Jones Park.
