The Coppell girls lacrosse team faces McKinney at Coppell Middle School North tomorrow at 7 p.m.

The team has put emphasis on ball movement as well as communication between players on the defensive side.

“Our team has been working hard on a lot of different aspects that we are hoping to translate directly on Wednesday,” Coppell junior midfielder Claire Bryant said. “We have momentum and intensity from our last few games, and we are carrying that with us through this week and through the rest of our season.

The team has seen improvements in not only physical strengths, but the overall attitude and energy as well.

“Our team’s atmosphere has become so much better these days,” Coppell junior midfielder Aoi Suzuki said. “I’m looking forward to seeing us fight for every single ball that’s on the ground and keep position as long as possible. McKinney is one of the strongest teams in the league this year so I would expect this game to be a tough one. I know for sure that we need to give our 120% from the very beginning to the last second.”
