The Coppell Cowgirls won every game in both matches on Sep. 1. It was a dominating performance from start to finish for the Cowgirls who are now 21-4.

The first match was against Keller with Coppell winning 25-17, 25-19 and 25-12. It was a successful match with much consistency and high intensity.

Against Mansfield Summit the Cowgirls romped 25-15, 25-16 and 25-13. It was a quick three game match in which all members of the team got valuable varsity experience. Junior Jessica Campbell was key in both wins.

“Practicing against our talented team each day is very helpful,” Campbell said. “Practice really makes me more self confident in my game.”

The Cowgirls next game is against Arlington Martin on Friday. This should be a good game to gauge how good the Cowgirls really are.

“Martin has been historically a good team,” senior Kelsey Preston said. “But if we play our best it shouldn’t matter who is on the other side of the net.”
