On Saturday, Wagon Wheel Tennis Center is hosting Rally for the Cure from 4 to 6 p.m. to raise funds for breast cancer awareness.

There is a carnival with tennis matches in various courts, competitive and recreational. There are beat the pro contests for those who want to test their skill and win prizes, basics for beginners for those who do not have prior experience and kids courts open for younger children.

Eric Clay, Facility Manager at Wagon Wheel Tennis Center, is excited for the effort and believes this inaugural activity can become a Coppell tradition.

“This is our first effort to support a Rally for The Cure event,” Clay said. “Our hope is to have the event become an annual event for the tennis community in Coppell.”

Donations are appreciated and tickets can be purchased beforehand. Walk-ups are welcome on the day.
