Friday, the Coppell Cowgirls softball team (3-6 in district play) will play a decision making game against Lewisville (7-2 in district play) at the Coppell Middle School West fields at 7 p.m. After their game against the reigning State-5A champions, the Cowgirls will go on to play Hebron in order to head to playoffs.

Although the team has already played Lewisville and lost (8-0), they suspect the outcome will be much different from last year.

“We have definitely gotten a lot better, so I think anything can happen,” senior outfielder Katy Bryan said. “We are just going to try our best, and see where that takes us.”

Either way the Cowgirls know they will come out fighting, especially on their home field.

“We know how to play as a team now, so we should be a better match up this time around,” Byran said.
