With the Duck Pond, Andy Brown Park ponds and the pond behind Gifford Rd., the popularity of fishing in Coppell is on the rise. A local organization is using this new fad to help a greater cause.

Teen Leadership Coppell is hosting “Fish for Life” on Sat. April 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fishing competition will be held at Andy Brown East and all profits benefit Taylor’s Gift. Food will be catered by Dickey’s Barbecue and the student organization will host the recreational and competitive fishing.

Registration costs $10 per person and the money is due at the event. To register, click here.
