    Lance Armstrong opens up about controversy

    Today, January 14, cyclist Lance Armstrong appeared on Oprah finally addressing the doping controversy that has surrounded him for a period of time now. Armstrong’s titles were stripped and he has been banned from cycling for life due to these allegations.

    This debate has been circling for a few months now. Previously Armstrong denied any wrongdoing and there have been public spats between himself and former teammates and coaches over the subject. What caused the change in his statements is not known. Armstrong is extremely well known, especially in the cycling world and this situation has really shed light on the problem of drugs in sports.
