Rowdy, proud, and loud; Home games are back

    By Mabry Culp

    Staff Writer

Excitement and spirit filled the halls of Coppell High School today and the spirit will continue through tomorrow with the arrival of our first home game.

Buddy Echols is home to the most proud crowd in all of Texas, and for good reason too. Between the flags, body paint, and foam fingers provided by the dedicated student section, the crowd takes intimidating the opposing team to a whole new level.

Tomorrow the game will be played against McKinney Boyd, where a win is expected. This year the boys drive and passion to win is unparalleled, with much thanks to the support they receive from the entirety of the school.

Home games are an experience of their own, and aren’t taken lightly. Middle school through high school aged students pack into the front section of the stadium to cheer on the beloved team.

So prepare to put your guns up CHS, and help kick off another win for the Cowboys second game of the season.
