    Coppell Cowgirls win first game in Pearland tournament

    Last Thursday, August 30th, the Coppell Cowgirls volleyball team took on Katy High School in their first game of the 2012 Nike Pearland Volleyball Classic tournament.

    The Cowgirls won in only two games against the Tigers, both with a score of 25-12.

    The three day tournament was held from August 30th to September 1st, at the Sherly Searcy Ninth Grade Center in Pearland ISD, which is situated near Houston, Texas. The Cowgirls played at 11:30 a.m. at one of seven locations for this year’s tournament that hosts over 76 teams from Texas.
