    Holst, Ogbogu headline Sportsday All-Area Team

    Seniors Kierra Holst and and Chiaka Ogbogu were named to the Sportsday High School All-Area Volleyball team.

    Holst, an Oklahoma signee and the state tournament Most Valuable Player, as well as a middle blocker for the 7-5A champion Cowgirls, was named to the first team.

    Ogbogu, who has committed to California-Berkley, put the final game point down in the last match versus McKinney Boyd.

    Junior Cassidy Pickrell was named to the 7-5A All-District team.

    Coach Julie Green was named Volleyball Coach of the Year.
