Power Rankings through week 2
1. Baltimore – A new stabilized offense with that great defense.
2. Minnesota – I wish someone gave me 12.5 million to handoff to Adrian Peterson.
3. NY Jets – The Jets have blitzed their way to 2-0, Mark Sanchez is only going to better.
4. Atlanta – Relatively unmentioned thus far, a win at New England Sunday would change that.
5. NY Giants –The questions about their receivers seem to be evaporating.
6. Indianapolis – A little trouble with time of possession and the wildcat but it’s a victory.
7. New Orleans – Drew Brees looks unstoppable; can the defense stop somebody?
8. Pittsburgh – The running game not off to a fast start.
9. Philadelphia – Can Donovan McNabb get back any faster?
10. New England – Maybe should be 0-2, another tough matchup this week.
11. Green Bay – I’ll give you Cincinnati is better than most think, but the Packers had no business losing that game.
12. San Diego – A nary escape of the dysfunctional Raiders and a Ray Lewis man-play, San Diego may again be underachieving.
13. Dallas – the best news for the Cowboys secondary: Jake Delhomme comes to town Monday.
14. Houston – Still waiting on Steve Slaton to have an impact.
15. San Francisco – Watch out for the 49ers, they are poised to unseat the Cardinals in the NFC West.
